Acne Rue Mohair Sweater and Anine Bing Bohemian Linen Skirt

For Christmas the main thing that I wanted was a new sweater from Acne. I chose their Rue mohair sweater in 'Dove White'. It is similar to their Wham sweater in grey melange, which I got last Christmas but I love their sweaters so much that I don't mind. They are the epitome of cozy and I love the way they are cut. The only downside is that moths find them just as appealing and if you forget to put them in a storage bag (or apparently the freezer, thank you Leith Clark for that tip) over the summer you might find holes in them...lesson learned.

While walking down 3rd Street, J and I came across Carmela Ice Cream, my new favorite place to get sorbet.
Using organic ingredients from local farmers markets, Carmela offers an unique selection of ice cream and sorbet flavors, including my current favorite flavor : raspberry rose.

I wore a black, 'fairy-light' linen tank from Anine Bing, which is perfect on its own for hot summer days or for layering during the colder months. I am actually kind of in love with this tank, it is so soft and I get the urge to wear it with everything. Anine Bing's linen tops are definitely going on my list of staple items.

Anine Bing Sample Sale

On Saturday, J and I went to blogger and designer Anine Bing's sample sale, which was held at
Bing's seriously beautiful showroom and hosted by blogger Julie Sarinana of Sincerely, Jules.

 Before Saturday I had never actually seen any of the pieces from Anine Bing's line in person, so for
me it was all very exciting. I even got to meet Anine Bing, who was so nice and so very pretty.

The most exciting part was getting to take a few pieces with me when I left (Thank you J).
