Mexican Wedding Dress

Top : Vintage // Bottoms : Current/Elliott // Shoes : Gap //

I love Mexican wedding dresses, I am not sure why exactly but I do.
The best and only place that I know where to find them is at vintage markets.
They come in a variety of lengths, patterns, and are always 100% cotton.
I picked two up recently, each for only $10, this being one of them.

I will show you the other one soon!

Current/Elliott Ankle Skinny Jeans in Hunter

Top : Gap // Bottoms : Current/Elliott // Bag : Louis Vuitton //

In my opinion, Current/Elliott makes the best fitting jeans for petite body types.
Their Stiletto and Ankle Skinny cuts are my favorites. The Ankle Skinny is a
little bit longer than the Stiletto cut (the Stiletto is perfect for if you are shorter).

I like them so much that I picked up another pair of the Ankle Skinny jeans,
this time in Hunter. This may be turning into a problem...kidding (kind of)!

Good morning!

This morning I have another jeans outfit post for you. Another Current/Elliott jeans post to be specific. I wear jeans all year-round, they are so essential. I like that you can wear the same pair of jeans with two different style tops and have two completely separate vibes. In the summer I am always into looks that are kind of 'rock and roll chic' (I guess that is my style no matter what the season is) but with a sort of 'California cool' vibe.

It is the subtle chicness of a denim and white top combination that gets me! It is an outfit that can look so effortlessly stylish when executed properly. To do so you have to have a nearly perfect pair of jeans and a nearly perfect white top, both in a style that you like.

Personally, I like skinny jeans and I have been loving my pair of Current/Elliott Stiletto jeans in 'Federal Blue' so much that I decided to pick up a similar pair. I ended up finding this pair of Ankle Skinny jeans, which are a little bit longer than the Stiletto jeans, in 'East Village' (their names make me laugh). I adore them. They are darker and have more of a 'rock and roll' vibe, perfect for pairing with a simple white tank.

Look for Less : Isabel Marant Anaya Embroidered Cotton Top

stilbym stilbym
While I was out shopping for my cousin's first birthday I came across this Asymmetrical Eyelet Tank from...Gap...uh, Kids (a little weird sounding, I know). Seeing as the top reminds me of Isabel Marant's Anaya embroidered cotton top, I decided that with a little DIY I could turn it into a 'look for less' sort of thing. I thought there was going to be more DIY involved but I decided to just add a belt that I picked up at an estate sale in Scottsdale at the waist. I think it works well, I hope it does at least!

Federal Blue Current/Elliott Stiletto Jeans

Top : Urban Outfitters // Bottoms : Current/Elliott // Shoes : Gap //

I picked up this pair of 'federal blue' jeans from Current/Elliott a couple of days ago. I had wanted a pair of light weight blue jeans for the summer months and I think these were just what I was looking for. I got them just in time too seeing as the past few days have been extremely hot and sunny, which in my opinion is so much nicer than endless days of rain.
I paired them with the white cotton top that I bought for my trip to Scottsdale. Both garments are simple and perfect for extremely hot days and I have a feeling they will be two of my summer essentails.

Happy Sunday!
