Andreea Diaconu for Isabel Marant Étoile Fall/Winter 2013-2014 Collection

These are my favorite pictures from the Isabel Marant Étoile Fall/Winter 2013-2014
collection lookbook, which features model Andreea Diaconu. The lookbook was
shot by French photographer Karim Sadli (you can see more of his work here).
The first and second looks are my absolute favorites. You can see the rest here.

The Hollywood Sign (from my phone)

stilbym stilbym stilbym stilbym
On Saturday afternoon my friends were nice enough to take me to see
the Hollywood Sign, which is something I have wanted to do forever
(for reasons unknown). I think it is probably the most touristy thing I have
wanted to do...maybe ever.

I also got to see the Hollywood Reservoir,
which reminds me of Jurassic Park or something.

Unfortunately, these pictures were taken with my phone and
do not show how pretty everything was. Hopefully, by the
end of the day I will be able to post pictures that were taken
with an actual camera.

Happy Monday!

Daria Werbowy for Isabel Marant Fall/Winter 2013-2014 Ad Campaign

stilbym stilbym stilbym

I love these photos of Daria Werbowy shot by Karim Sadli for
Isabel Marant's Fall/Winter 2013-2014 ad campaign so much.

Out of all of the Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collections,
Isabel Marant is one of my favorites (surprise, right?).
It is different from Marant's previous collections,
it feels like she white washed her studio and just
decided to start fresh.

The textures, the fabrics, the layering...
it all works so well together in that
unbelievably cool Marant sort of way.

Summer Perfect Outfit

Happy Friday!
I am going to take a momentary break from posting pictures
from here in Los Angeles to show you some pictures from VT.

This is one of my go to summer outfits that I feel like works on both coasts.
If you know me then you know that East Coast outfits vs. West Coast outfits
is something that I struggle with (mostly because I usually wear all black)
so I feel like I have cracked some sort of fashion code.

What is more perfect for summer than a fairy-light,
white cotton top paired with some denim?

And now that I have brought up fairy-light tops...
I actually love this top so much that I have been thinking
about picking it up in black seeing as it is now on sale.
Or do you think that would be too much?

Los Angeles Update

My Best :

As I mentioned in a previous post, I am currently in Los Angeles with my best.
It is quite nice to be back, I almost forgot how lovely the sunshine is here.

I have already done so many cool things…such as :

Meeting up with my brother and his girlfriend and taking them for a drive along the PCH and through the mountains in Malibu. On this adventure we stopped and ended up getting sorbet, which for me was so exciting. Even more exciting than that was when we saw a family of deer (fawns included). It was so precious I thought I was going to stop breathing.

Walking to the Larchmont farmers market on Sunday morning and then seeing the 'Overdrive : LA Constructs the Future, 1940-1990' show at the Getty the day before it closed.

Getting photographed at the Pacific Design Center and getting to meet Mary Younakof, the artist behind 343 Dresses : The Chromatic Convergence Project. Younakof is one of the nicest, most inspiring, and dedicated people that I have met in a long time and talking with her left me smiling.

AND, before all of that, walking to a place that I like called Astro Burger the morning after I got in, which is when these pictures were taken. In my jet lagged state, I decided to wear my T by Alexander Wang Crisscross back tank as it is super easy and comfortable with a pair of jeans from Current/Elliott, my new Sandro shoes, a bag from Marc by Marc Jacobs that I almost forgot about, a black sunhat, and a pair of big black sunglasses.

Hopefully I will post more pictures soon!

I hope you are all having a lovely Wednesday!

Sandro Black Leather Shoes

Hello from Los Angeles!

I thought I would give a quick update and apologize for the lack of posts! I have been traveling and have not had much time to spend on the computer.

While I am at a computer I thought I would show you my new shoes from Sandro. I picked them up while I was in NYC a couple of days ago and I am kind of in love with them. I usually have a hard time finding shoes that I like enough to actually buy so I was pretty excited to find these. I will try to get a better picture to show you soon!

I hope you are all doing well!

Current/Elliott Ankle Skinny Jeans in Hunter

Top : Gap // Bottoms : Current/Elliott // Bag : Louis Vuitton //

In my opinion, Current/Elliott makes the best fitting jeans for petite body types.
Their Stiletto and Ankle Skinny cuts are my favorites. The Ankle Skinny is a
little bit longer than the Stiletto cut (the Stiletto is perfect for if you are shorter).

I like them so much that I picked up another pair of the Ankle Skinny jeans,
this time in Hunter. This may be turning into a problem...kidding (kind of)!

Sunday Style

Happy Sunday!

Hopefully you are spending your day doing lovely
things while wearing an outfit that you really like.

What are you wearing today? Seriously, I am curious.
I love Sunday is such a delicate balance of
being comfortable and extremely stylish and when
done right looks so laid back cool.

With that in mind I guess it is
time for me to get dressed!
